Hi, I’m Enrico. I’m an artist and actor.
There is a fragility that must be recognized in order to see value, there is an ephemeral quality to sensing value, to sensing meaning. This fragility must serve as a signal fire to reflection in those who would allow for reflection. Value and meaning can be overlooked to the end of expediency and progress, active rebellion must be waged against that impulse… My art is a temple for this rebellion.
Elaboration is often the mask for shortcomings and the hesitation to elaborate is often the hallmark of lacking substance. These dynamics must constantly be placed in check for the artist to affect a desired aim. I learned this through my pockets. Fluttering hands can expend energy only to produce imprecision and confusion, and palms buried in the safety of pockets can be just as demonstrative of a lack of knowing. The balance lies somewhere in between knowing the intention of decidingwhen and why to do things and when not. This is a key to holding space when occupying it. Speaking in the definite of what art is, is a venture akin to plowing the sea. I am an aquatic farmer.
Be good to yourself,
E
